Usenge Self Help Community Garden

Our organization identifies, analyzes and plans and mobilizes communities on development issues and we promote 100% non discriminative participation by the local communities with whom we work and in that generate resilience, self respect and self reliance through long term development projects. It is in this regard that the main goal of this garden project is aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty and misery created by poor education - illiteracy, extreme hunger and ill-related health issues to access sustainable opportunities to develop their full potential, to promote food production, self sufficiency and improve health standards of our target beneficiaries -orphans and vulnerable children and seniors.
