You can grow your own food. We can help.

Township of Union Community Garden

Township of Union Community Garden was started by members of the Union Garden Club as an extension to our community efforts.  It's goals are to provide accessable garden sites for those that do not have access, or have unsuitable property to grow.  The Township of Union has supported us by providing land. We have been planning and networking with the schools, scout troops and community to start this project in the spring of 2014.  We have planned raised garden beds that the scout troops will help build, and plan to seek donations of pallets to build a compost bin and soil retention bin.  We have set aside 4-4x8 beds to plant and maintain by our board members where the yield will be donated to the local food pantry.
