Sunset Park Organic Veggie and Flower garden

We envision our garden to be bursting wiht life- students reveling in the enjoyment of nurturing plants from mere seedlings to maturity, eager critters pollinating the flowers and composting the soli, fresh fruits and vegetables being picked from the vine at the peak of ripeness, teachers getting inspired by the powerful learning tool that the garden provides, parent volunters an senior volunteers being enthused by the effectiveness of the curriculum in forming a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in their child. We see our organic garden as a living, learning laboratory- essentially and outdoor classroom.
