Planted five different kinds of beans for drying today!
Nice. Lots of healthy protein. Dried beans are still uncharted territory for me, but I look forward to discovering them through you.
Experiments & research are noble things to do.Of course,there is the cross pollination issue...
Year around harvest is a worthy goal - especially in cold climates. Please keep us posted on your results. I've grown a lot of bean seed - but haven't eaten it - Scarlet Runner bean ... But I have harvested seed for winter sprouting-vegetable nutrition & taste. All the vegetables that make masses of seed in pods work for this kind of harvest.
