You can grow your own food. We can help.

Seeds for life (Semillas para la Vida)

The word population is increasing as well as the demand for quality and afforable food. The factors limiting food production vary amongs countries; an alternative to solve some of the production barries, the one that has worked for us, is the Grow Biointensive method. Grow Biointensive allow us the ability to produce our own food in less space. It does not use agrochemicals, builds the soil 60 times faster than nature and does not requires the use of expensive machinery.

In 2001 the Asociacion Ecologica del Oriente (ASEO) began its work of promoting the production of healthy organic food in small spaces, in order to encourage food sovereingty in urban and rural households in the departement ot Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. In 2005 ASEO established its own demostration garden.  Visitors, mothers, farmers and sutdents, can  see and touch the crops, photograph them and often take home  vegetables as well as seeds. We produce vegetables all year. We have around 40 varieties per year and the garden's compost is produce by the garden itself. We teach the basic gardening techniques using the principles of Grow Biointensive.

We would like to continue being a place were anyone can learn how to produce their own vegetables in small place and with tecniques that protect the environment (through the teaching and use of Grow Biointensive method).
