Seed Bed 2014

Legambiente Garbatella wants to build a seed bed in order to run laboratoires with elementary school children and disabled people of the neighbourhood about seeds and vegetable life cycle.

This structure will allow us to prepare young plants directly from seeds to be placed into the community garden. So we will be able to use and duplicate by ourselves our seeds.

The  seed bed will consist in a linseeds oil protected wooden structure, therefore without any use of solvent or paint. Transparent polycarbonate panels will cover the structure, a recyclable, environment-friendly material.

The seed bed will be around 4 mt x 3 mt, enough large to enable disabled people on wheel chair to enter.
