Question

jasminemin
What are the differences between school gardens, school farms, children's gardens, and family gardens?

Question details

How would you define these terms?

Hey Jasmine! These are great questions, and I think a lot of people have different answers (and I think the answers are all flexible :) Are you a potential school or campus gardener/farmer? Or a community member with an interest in school gardens? You should consider joining the new "Campus Farmer" group (under the "Groups" tab next to the activity stream) which is a resource and communication hub for folks interested in school food. Even if you just want to peruse documents in our Google Drive (lots of school gardens and farms are uploading their site plans, growing info, visions and missions, and more) it is a GREAT place and an awesome new feature of KGI! Don't hesitate to ask if you have questions about it, we're really excited for folks to share questions and resources!
