Question

WaggleDancer
Due to the wet season, my Bing cherries are starting to develop blue mold.

Question details

Any suggestions for organic control of blue mold in pre-harvest cherries to stem the spores from ruining the whole crop? I'll go out today and remove as much of the molded cherries I can see. However, if moisture and humidity continue, I'm at a loss for what to do. I think it'll just take over. The cherries could be picked now, but they're not displaying a nice dark bing colour yet. In Ontario, I see the average date for picking Bing's is July 16. Would love any and all advice!

Actually, after doing a bit research, I may actually be dealing with brown rot. Hand picking moldy rotten fruit again today to keep the disease at bay. May look into spraying next year. :(
