Question

LaPine Oregon G...
7/21/2013 my zucchini plants have only male flowers. How can I encourage female flower growth. I know the difference between male and female flowers.
usually the male flowers appear first. the female ones will/should follow, and sometimes more male. mine seem to produce more male than female flowers. pumpkins, squash, cucumbers do the same from my experience.
Thank you for your information and as the month progresses you are right and I have hand pollinated my female flowers. Now there seem to be more females and I am trying to save the male parts to use when the females open. What a wonder!
