You can grow your own food. We can help.

PPEP Tec School Garden

The horticulture program provides students with a healthy fun activity outdoors to promote well-being and leadership opportunities. Students are learning where food comes from and how to grow organic vegetables.

Students in our area face daily threats of gang violence and drugs. Our school is a charter high school successfully providing our students with activities to help them transition to college, vocational training, jobs, and many into the military. The horticulture program focuses on leadership, team building, and work related skills for building a successful portfolio and resume to use during and after high school.

We desperately need additional supplies to enhance our garden. We want to attract more pollintors to our garden since we are in a high urbanized industrial area. We want to plant fruit trees and bushes to attract the pollinators. We also would like seeds and seedlings for our greenhouse.
