I make homemade sauce from home grown tomatoes and there is nothing like it! When you grow your own tomatoes, everything tastes better. destritt http://www.bestflowergardening.com
What a great idea! I will be trying out these steps in the future!
Peter, Thanks a lot, now I need to go get more jars. Really though, thanks for the additional ideas for this year's generous harvest. -Johanna
Just made 6 pints of this - it's fabulous, tastes like tomatillo salsa http://www.farmgirlfare.com/2005/09/saving-harvest-green-tomato-relish.html
