My broccoli plants, in containers, do not have tight heads and have begun to flower. What's wrong?
Broccoli that starts to flower can be one of several cases. The most likely is heat, broccoli will bolt (i.e go to flower) if temperatures become too hot. Other culprits can be too little water or nutrients, up those if temperature isn't the problem - broccoli are hungry plants! :) Hope that helps!
