How is it best to plant rhubarb? and in what type of spot in the garden?
Hi Pauline Rhubarb is a bog plant. It tolerates semi shade and loves deep rich soil. Dig in as manure or compost as you can get hold of as it is a gross feeder. Dig it up every five years, spilt it up and plant it in newly composted ground. It produces in early spring and dies down when the weather warms up.
