Apartment Gardens
Many people who live in apartments don't have access to gardens, but it doesn't have to be that way. Apartment building owners can be part of the solution by converting sunny, unused common spaces into growing spaces for tenants. This photo was sent to me today by an apartment building owner in California who has done just that by installing 15 raised beds for her tenants. I might be wrong, but I'm guessing she doesn't have much trouble keeping her apartments occupied with beautiful, edible perks like these.
