You can grow your own food. We can help.

Modern Day Victory Garden for our Troops

Working with several other groups at the local VA hospital in Loma Linda with our service dogs, we have started growing all the veggies that go into our weekly chili for the hospic wing of the facility.  We currently grow 4 - 4x4 beds with another 8 2x4 bins on the fence.  We just built a bean teepee that is 15 feet high right in the middle of the yard and are looking to put another 10 boxes in the same area.  We are also sharing all the knowledge of this project with the vets at the hospital and have posted photos with instructions online at; http://www.pinterest.com/mysticlakephoto/grid-gardening-anyone-can-do/

Several of the vets would like us to work with them on a garden of raised beds for the hospital as well.
