Kiddie City's Kiddie Garden

The Kiddie City garden has been a delicious learning laboratory for our children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.  Wonderful sensory and science lessons, valuable gardening and  teamwork skills -  great educational end products from our tiny, side yard plantings.  Add to those results the sometimes different and delicious vegetables that we've eaten off the vine or served at mealtime and we can certainly say that those tiny little seeds and seedlings have provided a wealth of practical education.  Kiddie City's children and our staff are ready to accept the challenge to enlarge the scope of our garden project by: 1.  Selecting new and different garden plant varieties  2. Increasing our garden size by doing more container gardening and vertical gardening  3. Starting more seeds indoors for our garden and for distribution to our children's families  and by  4.  Hosting a family garden education night to encourage gardening at home.
