You can grow your own food. We can help.
My grandfather taught me all he knew about gardening.
Where I got started!
I got my start in gardening under the careful supervision of my grandfather. He loved gardening and planted two big gardens on the farm where I grew up. He also planted another garden at my uncle's house. I remember the sound of his pickup truck coming toward our house...my sisters and I could hear that thing a mile away, and we knew it meant grandpa was due to arrive shortly and we would be pulling weeds. We were typical teens. We would have rather chased boys and hung out with friends, than to pull weeds from the garden. We loved our grandpa, but dreaded the sound of his truck half a mile away...but you know, I learned valuable gardening skills from him that I wouldn't know about today, otherwise! Today I love gardening, and I am still learning, and trying new items and methods. I have grown to love the garden, because I know it's giving me back the fruits of my labor! Amen!
