You can grow your own food. We can help.

Grow Local Go Local Community Garden

Grow Local Go Local (GLGL) has recognized that 32% of children in the US are obese. We have also recognized the above national average unemployment in our targeted area. GLGL beleives childhood obesity and unemployment can be reduced by a program of educating Wetzel County Citizens to grow, share, prepare, and eat local food that they themselves grew.

We will develop a second 9600 sq. ft. community garden to support 15 families gardening activities. We will also be expading our raised bed planting boxes located in a HUD subsidized housing in our area.

Children, adults and seniors will all benefit from the growing and consumption of local food.
