Green Club/ Garden & Butterfly Club

The EMMS Ohana creates relationships between its students and the world around them in many ways. The Garden/Green club, as well as the Butterfly Club at Ewa Makai Middle School, helps nurture this relationship. Our goal for our garden is to expand its existence to the community, so that we all know how important it is to care for the native species that created life here on Oahu. Ewa Makai Middle School is known for our green inititaves, ranging from vermicomposting to aquaponics. The entire school, including staff and faculty will benefit from this grant greatly.
