You can grow your own food. We can help.

Fresh Start Community Farm

Fresh Start Community Farm is a decentralized urban farm in Newport, VT whose mission is to cultivate a baseline of food access in our city through gardens that create social, cultural, and economic hubs within the communities they serve. Our gardens are lawns, lots, and other reclaimed spaces scattered throughout the city, tended by local neighbors, and the next generation of growers. We accomplish this by growing a variety of heirloom produce on sustainably managed land. providing year-around food, garden education and skills building activities. The primary group of people benefiting will be our volunteers. We are also working with our local food shelf and elementary schools.
