You can grow your own food. We can help.

Donation Garden at Medford Leas

The project promotes education, environmental stewardship, food production, soil enrichment, soil management, integrated pest management, weed identification and since inception, the donation of over 7200 pounds of Jersey Fresh (non GMO) produce to local food pantries and food kitchens

Thru the on hands production of vegetables the Master Gardeners involved(From 3 to 23 Weekly)  see and experience what can and does occur when a seed is planted, watered, weeded, and protected from pests (animal, insect and biological).  Upon harvesting the produce is given to local charities for distribution to persons in need.  The gardeners gain expertise which is used on the County hot line to explain to local gardeners what is going on in their gardens.
