You can grow your own food. We can help.

CCC Green Program

The mission of CCC Green Program is to improve the health of our community by teaching the children in our year-round K-8 youth programs, mainly poor black and Hispanic children from Cambridge, how to garden and grow their own food, the importance of healthy eating, and the importance of taking care of ourselves and the environment.

We have nearly 500 square feet of organic growing space at the Cambridge Community Center for children to tend to, then harvest and eat the food that they have grown and cared for. By growing their own food, the children grow individually, grow as a team, and bring their growing knowledge into their community.
