You can grow your own food. And we can help!

Jan 23, 2012

Hi Everyone, I am new to growing but started with cauliflowers last year. Most have come up and have started to get quite big, however they are a sad washed out colour and not white like you get in the shops. Is there any way I can make them stay white?

You should tie the outer leaves over the flower portion to keep them out of the sunlight. This will keep the head from turning color. Be sure you have a white variety. Stay natural, David
