Urban Farm Magazine embraces healthy living poster

Jan 10, 2011

The Jan/Feb issue of Urban Magazine 2011 has embraced our new Healthy living Poster from StarChid Science. This is a poster that gives a child a quick glance at what can happen if everyone in her neighborhood plants their favorite seeds. Our animations grew out of this poster and have become the most fun thing for a child to view on our web site. More animations are to follow. Even the Director of Chefs to Schools, Chef Timothy Cipriano got into the act and is in some of our animations with our starchildren. The children love it when he feeds vegetable tartare to a baby giraffe. GO to: http://www.starchildscience.org and go anywhere and you can see an animation of children having fun planting their own gardens and creating a healthy living neighborhood. Enjoy, Judy Wilken MS
