coldframe treasures
Last September I took all my old lettuce seeds and decided to plant up a few planters with the old seeds. I place these pots in a cold frame in Nov and ignored them until two weeks ago.
The snow has melted off of the cold frame, the sun has been shining down on the cold frame and I saw some green. I opened up the lid and to my suprise there were wonderful lettuces ready for transplant. I transplanted the greens directly into the cold frame soil over 12 days ago and now,,,it's ready to start harvesting,
It's a delight to find treasure, tonight we are going to eat the treasure!
