Question: could a little web-based video feed the world?

Answer: No, but thousands of people watching it, changing the way they eat and live and encouraging others to do the same could be a good first step.

This little video is a wonderful public service and tells the story of global food in a very simple and accessible way.  For those wanting to delve deeper, I'd recommend reading Raj Patel's equally wonderful book "Stuffed and Starved ."
