Just starting

Jul 06, 2011

I was looking for a hobby and came across the Kitchen Gardeners. I am excited to be a member of this global group and am planning a new garden for next year. Any advice for someone that is just starting would be great.

Yes its something about talking with others about our garden experiences that gets me excited too. Each year I try to plant something new and different. and as I get older I now know the true difference between pole and bush beans. Pole are better because they climb up and bush beans are way down low, harder to pick for me. LOL I planted bush this year and have always had pole before. Hey just to let you know. If you want a great book on weed free and other tips for gardening, get the vegetable gardeners bible, by Edward Smith, its great and I learned a lot from him. I got mine at Amazon. May your garden be prosperous. Is this your first?
