Looking for spring
I keep looking for a definitive sign but everytime I think I see one it becomes covered with a blanket of snow. Luckily my peach tree is not so easily intimidated by the weather. Inside my seedlings can't be swayed either. As I start to tenatively move some of my starts out under low tunnels of row cover and place selected seeds into the ground I can't help but wonder if winter will ever give it up around here. I'm going to use floating row cover and walls of water to push my season a bit early. I'm wondering what other extension techniques gardeners are using.
