You can grow your own food. And we can help!

Dec 21, 2010

Plant a tree to honor someone.  Fill it with paper cranes each containing a wish.  Dedicate it to someone you love.  God will know.

When my dear E was studying language in Turkey she noted & sent photos of the city custom there for people living on upper floors of buildings to lower baskets to the street to pick up all kinds of items rather than run downstairs. She wondered what she could drop into the baskets as a friendly, jokey greeting? I suggested folded cranes, since she specifically learned how to fold them as a child.
