Wonder Wall

Nov 08, 2012

I'm loving this wall o' lettuce! It gives us a glimpse of the architecture of the future. Why have just a simple wall when you can have a salad wall instead?

How cool! I have some friends interested in designing a living wall for their LEED building on a college campus. Any info on who did this/where their plans came from?
Hi admin from Duke Campus Farm . i am Tariq Tanveer . this lettuce wall is design and made by me in my garden. see my site www.qbfarms.com and also contact me my face book id http://www.facebook.com/tariq.tanveer.5/photos_albums thanks for like my living walls work.
Today the designer/builder has posted about his methods, plans & gardden[s] context on the kgi facebook page. Many wonderful photos of this well-done design! "My First Vertical Living Wall my design vertical garden kits and wall ,look here this beautiful Landscape Project Execution by PHA Lahore. (Mr Muhammad Azam ) this is vertical living wall, first i design a vertical kit it is in two sizes 2*2 and 5*2 and second design a sporting paler to stand it so we can make our out side wall 6 feet 8 feet or 10 feet what ever we like and between two garden kits i fill coco peat with some organic fertilizer and put a drip pipe top of it . and after end all pot planted with hanging petunias for blooms. we are pioneer in pakistan to introduce such kind of living walls/vertical garden . we do all works about living walls such as Design, manufacturing process ,installation and Maintenance . contact us for more information that how can we use this wall for vegetable growing. www.qbfarms.com By: Tariq Tanveer Photos: 79"
