Tonight's featured dish
Tonight's special harvest: our first orange "cheddar" cauliflower and red potatoes which were ultimately boiled and then smothered in a sharp cheddar cheese white sauce and cooked in the oven au gratin until the top was golden brown. It was sort of heavy and sort of delicious. No need for meat with a dish like that. We're up to our elbows in salad greens these days so there was lots of green to go with the orange on our plates.
