Front Edible Garden Progress June 2014

Jun 22, 2014

How wonderful it is to have such amazing volunteers creating and tending to our edible community garden! Volunteers Kate and Carol have planted an array of herbs and medicinal plants along with some joy bringing sunflowers and sweet peas! People in the community have also wanted to contribute by sharing plants from their garden. The garden catches the eyes of those passing by in the carpark at the front of the library, often drawing them over to see what it is all about and sometimes sampling some of the plantings. We see the positive effects it has on people to make them smile! and the children like to play along the path with painted stepping stones!
