Topics:

Our Friendship Garden is in the Shawnee Neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky.  Joni Lancaster and myself (Debbie Carter) planted this garden together.  So far, we have collard and mustard greens, tomatoes, green beans and green pepper, green onion.  I am doing succession  planting of green beans and greens.. Zucchini squash is growning by leaps and bounds. We also have cucumbers which have produced beautiful blossoms.  Can't wait to have cucumbers for a summer salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.  Only one full size green pepper has developed and the green pepper plants are affectionaly named "Mr. Mikes" green peppers because he always needs a green pepper for his cooking purposes.
