KGI Annual Report - 2013

Dear Kitchen Gardener,

As a gardener, I’d like to think that every year is a growth year but 2013’s growth was something special for KGI.  We grew our network, our programming, our budget and our impacts.

The highlight of the year was the launch of our Sow It Forward mini-grants and partnership program which helped support 80 inspiring food garden projects across the US and around the world. These included school gardens, community gardens, food bank gardens and many other types of garden projects serving vulnerable populations.

While we’re pleased with our progress, we’re not resting on our laurels. We know that much more work needs to be done to make kitchen gardens and healthy, garden-grown foods accessible to all and, thanks to our generous donors and our growing network,  we’re on course to do it!

Thanks for your support,
