I submitted an application for theSow It Forward Grant. I received the confirmation upon submitting it however, I did not receive an email nor did I have I heard anything... Should I assume my school did not receive the grant?

As February 1 has come and gone can I asume that Mary Haven will not be a receipiant of a food garden grant? I haven't seen any press release identifying those organizations that are receipiants. Do you have a mechanism that would provide me with feedback on how we can make our application stronger in the future? Alex Pearl

Hello all! I'm an avid gardener, but new to veggies. I garden on a typically small city lot. This past year, I began planting vegetables in containers and among other plants in my raised beds. After a season of tomatoes, eggplant and kale, my family is hooked. By joining KGI, I hope to learn more about how to successfully incorporate and grow edibles within my existing gardens.

Oops! BlissfulGarden prompted me to post a status update and say that I read all of the posts and comments, since I certainly haven't lost interest in K.G.I. and kitchen gardening. I've had an unusual year, but now the excitement is growing to start my small spring garden and enjoy the benefits of good home grown food this coming year. Also to tell my old (figure of speech) friends that I'm doing well and hope to contribute to the cause...
