Thanks to the grant we received from KGI we were able to purchase an elevated raised bed and add it to our community garden. We are planning to fill the bed and plant summer and fall crops.

Here at the LOCAL Garden in Bath we have had a very successful spring and early summer with many field trips filling the 42 raised beds with potatoes, beets, carrots, greens, peas, tomatoes, sunflowers, sweetpeas, eggplant and peppers!! Many of the children that come to us with their classes have never been to a garden before or worked with their hands in the dirt.
