Today was supposed to be sunny, and I spent the morning volunteering at our local markets...

Starting up my first kitchen garden, does anyone have any good tips?

Good luck so far this season. My "currant" tomatoes are setting lots of fruit. My "bush" beans that climbed up some string supports are setting lots of beans. Brussel sprouts are making progress, about a foot high now. Pepper plants had aphids so I bought some lady bugs for them and that seems to be working. Herbs are doing well; mint, lavender, rosemary, oregano, parsley, and basil. Carrot seedlings are disappointing at the moment....
